What is your role at Genflow?
As the Head of Development, I currently oversee all technical aspects of the creation of our clients' mobile apps, web apps and websites. It's a very varied role that includes developing new features, training developers, and building new products for our clients.

What were you doing prior to Genflow?
I ran a design and development agency in Hackney for four years, specialising in web and app development.

The highlight of your time at Genflow so far?
I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in lots of huge new launches during my time at Genflow. Both OWNU and LEAN topped their category charts in multiple countries' App Stores at launch, which was definitely a highlight.
Other than that, every time I see someone enjoying using one of our client’s products in public – that's a great moment.

Advice for someone starting new in the app development/tech space?
When you’re starting out in tech, I firmly believe passion tops almost everything else. Learn the basics of development and apply to a role that you’re truly interested in, your passion will shine through naturally and help you to secure a role you care about, even with little experience.

Your favourite creator right now?
Daniel Arsham is a contemporary artist and designer. His work spans sculpture, furniture and even collaborations on classic Porsches. The multi-disciplinary creativity is a constant inspiration.
