The creator economy was valued at $200 billion in 2021, and the industry is only just growing.

Enter Genflow, a global creator company that knows how to monetize content for creators, help them sell online, and build their brands. We do it all, designing, production, distribution, content creation, marketing, and creator management, Genflow is a leader for creator-led brands in the industry.

Here are 10 things you may not know about Genflow:

1. Genflow is a global creator agency with our HQ in London
We started in 2016 by CEO and founder Shan Hanif who knew six years ago that creators had the power at their fingertips. Owning an audience is the most powerful asset in the world, and we work with creators who have a loyal, dedicated, and active audience size. Our HQ is in London, but we work with creators from LA, New York, Dallas, Dubai, Marbella, Ibiza, Dublin, and all around the world.

2. Before Genflow, we were called NomNom and Aflete
Before we started working with creators and helping them launch their brands, we were working with creators and helping them sell fitness products, e-books, and fitness guides.

3. Genflow has its own tech products

We are a creator agency but we are also a tech company. In May 2022, we launched the Web3 division called Genv3rse where we make it very easy for anyone to launch their own Web3 business. The ALPHA version of Genv3rse is live, and our dedicated Web3 and blockchain team is now working towards adding new features to the mix. Check out our Twitter and Instagram. We're also working on a very secret and incredible analytical tool that can help monitor any creator's social media audience and stats called Genlytics, more on that soon.

4. Genflow has its own podcast + our CEO has one too!

Like, Share & Subscribe is a weekly podcast for creators and by creators. We offer an insight into the creator economy without the complicated lingo. We tell you how it is, in plain and simple words: how to go viral, how to create better reels, how to edit your thumbnails for YouTube and even how to unwrap the NFT world. In its launch season, we brought in some creators from TikTok and Instagram to talk through their creator journey, too. Have a listen!

Our CEO, Shan Hanif, also has his own podcast called Life of an Entrepreneur, where he gives top business insights and entrepreneurial tips on how to succeed and get sh*t done.

5. Genflow is a remote-first company
As the world went remote in 2020, we realized the power of working in a hybrid work environment and still being very productive. At Genflow, we have a remote-first policy with an encouraging outlook of working in a team setting once a week for the London team. We have teams who work remotely from LA, Jamaica, Pakistan, Portugal, and Germany. And every employee has access to our remote working policy, which entitles them to work from anywhere in the world, whenever they want. See here for more perks.

6. Genflow works with some of the biggest creators
Logan Paul, KSI, Mike Majlak, Mike Thurston, Lily Sabri, Grace Beverley, Jordyn Woods, Steph Hui, Brandon Harding, Matt Morsia, Natasha Oceane, Melissa Wood... these are only some of the creators we work with. The Genflow creator roster ranges from some of the biggest and best creators across TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

7. We produce all the products and supplements in-house
We work with factories across UK, US, Europe, and Asia, and we have our own supply and chain division in-house. Our fashion team works with some of the best sustainable textile and fabric houses in Portugal for our sustainable brands. We also develop our own plant- and whey-based protein powders, and other nutritional supplements for our creators like Lilly Sabri and Shreddy. We have our own tech division that works on all the fitness apps for our creators like Burn by Rebecca Louise, Grow by Anna, and OwnU by Hanna Oberg.

8. Genflow has had Series A funding from BGF
In January 2020, we raised $11 million in funding, led by UK investor BGF. We led this round by positioning Genflow as a brand-as-a-service (BaaS) platform, which helped creators develop their own digital and physical products instead of promoting other brands, and enabling them to launch their own membership club, gated community, mobile app or direct-to-consumer brand. This helped us scale in the last 18 months, and now we're heading into our Series B fundraising round now... stay tuned!

9. Genflow creators reach over 250 million people around the world
The audience-first approach is one of the most powerful tools we have here at Genflow. Our creators have an audience size of over 250 million combined, and our products, content, and marketing reaches that many people on a daily basis. The creator economy is here to stay.

10. Genflow has its own Creator Management Agency
We launched Genflow Talent in January 2021, but in one year of incredible success, we have relaunched our creator management business as Genflow Creators Agency. Our creators have partnered with huge global brands on campaigns like Google (and Addison Rae!), Tory Burch, Coach, Skims, Samsung, Kylie Cosmetics, Lancome, Nike, L'Oreal, and more.
